Mini-Kart!

Hey all! Like I promised here are some pictures of the Mini-Kart. It is an all electric, mini, go-kart that is supposed to weigh under 53 pounds. So far it is within the weight limit and looks as if it will run beautifully.

The frame is made of 1/4 inch aluminum that was water jetted with cutouts allowing support as well as keeping the weight under the limit. The remaining supporting sections of the frame are made of 80/20.


The rear wheels are belt driven by two motors, with one motor per wheel. The wiring is quite simple in comparison to the Cap-Kart, which was extreamly tedious, and took only a matter of days. I hope to get a video of the kart in action this Sunday. I also have a router review coming up in a few days also.
